Tortas Jalisco is a casual restaurant with prices ranging from $1.25 to $8.99. And of course they have tacos, which are a favorite of @philmartinez!

Join your friends, meet new ones, and enjoy some great KU basketball! The Lawrence tweetup group will move into its second year with a game watch party at The Barrel House, a downtown dueling piano bar that will be transformed into a sports bar for the night. KU takes on the Texas A&M Aggies, coached by former Jayhawk Mark Turgeon.

- Time: 7 p.m. (8 p.m. tip-off)
- Where: The Barrel House, 729 New Hampshire
The Barrel House has graciously offered our group the Crown Lounge, a VIP balcony space with a great view of the 150-inch projection screen they’ll have set up for the game. There are three other TV’s in the Crown Lounge area, and many more throughout the bar, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity for the perfect view of the game.
The Barrel House will have $2 almost anything on special Monday night.
Even if you aren’t a sports fan, this is a great chance to meet other local social media users. New faces are always welcome! Feel free to bring your friends, even if they’ve never heard of Twitter.
We also will have specially created Lawrence Tweetup shirts (designed by @BigToddie) available for sale. The shirts are black with long sleeves and a light blue design on the front and back, and they’re $15 each. Sizes small through extra large are available. If you can’t make it to the Tweetup but are interested in a shirt, contact us to make arrangements.
